PADI eLearning

With the PADI eLearning® system, you can start right away with the theoretical part of the course and work at your own pace. This convenient, interactive learning option allows you to study anytime, anywhere with an internet connection.
With PADI eLearning you can:

learn by watching, listening, reading and interacting with a dynamic learning program;

access the material for a whole year, giving you unlimited access to an online version of the respective manual (book) of a course;

contact your personal PADI Instructor at any time with questions about the course content;

Dive into the underwater world in a timely manner and apply what you have learned there - as soon as you meet with your PADI Instructor for this.

After completing your eLearning program, you already have the theory behind you and can now complete your Open Water Diver training at any PADI dive center. Since you have already completed the theory, the diving school will no longer charge you for it. The prices can vary depending on the diving school.

You can now purchase a PADI eLearning® and pass it on to your dive gift recipient. It's very simple. In just three simple steps:

1. You buy an eLearning course of your choice

Once you have purchased your eLearning course, you will log into your PADI account to access the course.

2. You can find the purchased course in your dashboard

In the dashboard you can find the course under Student Details > Manage Your Course.

3. Share the eLearning course via email!

To share it, click Share Course and enter the email address of the person you want to gift the course to.

Learning to dive requires both theoretical knowledge, including facts, procedures and concepts, and practical diving skills; this includes techniques and methods. PADI Open Water Diver Online uses video, audio, charts and text to support your learning, as well as short quizzes (test questions) to allow you to self-assess your progress. It then provides a recap for anything you may have already forgotten. With a PADI Instructor at your local PADI Dive Center or Resort you develop your diving skills during real dives. After completing the online theory, you are ready to meet your instructor and start having fun in the water.
