Frequently Asked Questions
Here you will find a list of questions about diving. If your question is not listed here, please feel free to contact us at any time.
-
Do I need a license to dive?No - with us you can do a try dive without any previous experience. However, this is limited to 12 meters and usually does not last as long as a normal dive. However, we will spend a little more time in the water to do some exercises and get you used to breathing underwater.
-
Is there a minimum age for diving?Yes - In principle, diving is possible from the age of 8. But this is only a "dive" in the pool at standing water depth. From the age of 10 you can in principle do the Junior Open Water Diver. Since safety is always our top priority, it is extremely important for us to sit with the child first to also assess whether it is a good idea or not. This differs from person to person. From the age of 16 you can do the Open Water Diver with us.
-
Do I need a medical check before diving?Participation in Courses: When you enroll in a PADI course, you will receive access to your eLearning. There, under Documents, you will find a Medical Form that you must fill out truthfully. This form outlines when you need a doctor's certificate. If that is the case, print the medical form and take it to your doctor. Fun Diver: If you participate in one of our diving activities, you generally do not need a medical form or a diving fitness certificate. However, we recommend this for every diver.

What license do I need for the Zenobia Wreck? The Zenobia wreck is located at depths of 18m to 42m. To dive the Zenobia, you need to have the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification or another qualification that allows you to dive up to 30 meters deep. Additionally, a Nitrox license with a minimum of 32% is required, as we only dive the Zenobia with Nitrox for safety reasons. If you don’t yet have a PADI Open Water Diver/Nitrox license but would like to dive the Zenobia, no problem! You can simply combine your Advanced Open Water Diver course with two dives at the Zenobia.
-
I have goggles - can I still dive?Sure! Under water everything seems bigger and closer.
-
I have my own equipment - can I store it with you?Yes, of course - please let us know in good time. With us you will find washing and storage facilities for your equipment
-
How do I get to you from the hotel?Should you be staying in a hotel/apartment in Ayia Napa, Protaras, Pernera or Paralimni or in the surrounding area, transport to and from the hotel is included with us.
